Truvera Terms & Consent

These Terms govern the conduct of Agents using the Truvera platform. Please read carefully before accepting.

Regulatory Compliance (Kenya – IRA)

The Agent agrees to comply with the Insurance Act Cap 487 and all regulations issued by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA). The Agent shall not misrepresent, mis-sell, or provide misleading information. Non-compliance may result in liability and regulatory reporting.

Premium Collection & Remittance

The Agent shall collect premiums on behalf of authorized parties and remit all net off premiums as agreed in full within prescribed timelines. Any loss due to non-remittance or diversion shall be borne fully by the Agent.

Unauthorized Transactions

The Agent shall not alter, cancel, or reinstate policies without authorization, nor issue unofficial documents or bind risks without approval. Any such actions shall result in personal liability.

Client Advisory & Conduct

The Agent is solely responsible for advice given to clients and must provide accurate product information and disclosures. Misconduct shall result in full responsibility for resulting disputes.

Data Protection & Confidentiality

The Agent agrees to comply with the Data Protection Act (Kenya), ensuring lawful data processing and confidentiality. Unauthorized use or sharing of data shall result in liability, penalties, and possible legal action.

Indemnity

The Agent agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from all claims, losses, or damages arising from fraud, misconduct, regulatory breaches, data violations, or client disputes.

Independent Contractor

The Agent operates as an independent contractor and not an employee or authorized representative beyond approved scope.

Digital Consent

By clicking 'Accept', the Agent confirms understanding and agreement to these Terms, forming a legally binding electronic agreement.

Digital Agreement

Clicking 'Accept' within the Truvera platform constitutes a legally binding electronic agreement to all Terms above, in accordance with Kenyan law.
